Cody 3 Months

Cody loves smiling at the girls. They can always make him smile.
rolls, rolls and more rolls.

Cody ~ you are such a joy to me during this crazy time. With 3 kids 3 and under things are pretty crazy all the time. When I am holding you and feeding you, I feel relaxed for once during the day. I love that special time with you. If I start talking you stop eating, look up at me and smile. I love it. You are getting bigger and bigger. You hair is starting to look blond to me. I can't get over how much you look like Ansley when she was your age. You are such an easy baby. You sleep 12 hours at night and nap all through out the day. I love you!

Poor Cody

Poor Cody is at the mercy of his sisters. Emily really wanted to hold Cody last night. Usually she holds him for less than a second and then pushes him off but last night she really enjoyed it. I ended up having to take Cody from Emily after she was putting him in a head lock. Today Ansley wanted to take care of Cody all by herself. She told me "don't pick him up mommy, I will help him" She went and got him new clothes and his passy. Then she changed his diaper for me but not before asking my if it was a dirty diaper. She has her limitations I guess.

Lake House Trip # 2 (Kate's Birthday)

Happy Birthday Kate
Cayden and Ansley swimming

Emily does not like the water too much. She wants to make sure I am close by wherever she is. If I am floating, she wants to be laying on me. If I am sitting on the dock, she wants to be sitting on my lap.

Ansley finally wanted to go on the jet ski. Peer pressure from Cayden, I guess. Then about 3o minutes later Emily wanted to go too. After that it was over...Jet Ski, Jet Ski was all I heard for the next 4 days.

Jake was so worried that Cody was going to spit up on him. It was really funny.

Cody's all time favorite toy

The weekend was for Kate's 20th Birthday but I think that Mack and Barb brought more gifts for the kids then Kate had. The first night we were there Aunt Barb got all the kids presents. Then the second night Uncle Mack brought out tons of gifts from Hawaii. He was delayed a day in Hawaii so I guess he got bored, if you can do that.

Ansley with her first fishing rod. She caught 9 fish over the weekend but I never caught one on camera.

Ansley

Ansley Girl ~ You are such a joy to my life. You make me laugh everyday. You love to make others laugh as well. When you first meet someone it takes you a really long time to get comfortable but once you do you love to show off. You love to dance, change your clothes and make silly faces. I wonder all the time what you will want to be when you grow up because you just love making people laugh. You change about 4 or 5 times a day, you are becoming so independent. Oh, and I almost forgot, you paint your nails everyday. All by yourself and you are becoming really good at it. Sometimes you will walk up to me and smile really sweet and then I will realize that you are showing me that you found my makeup and put on some of my lipstick.
You are definitely a mamma's girl. You love your daddy so much but in the morning I am the only one you want. Every morning you wake up and ask for me to get out of bed and make you chocolate milk and every morning I ask you to get in bed with me to snuggle but you want me to get up. Thank you being such a wonderful daughter and telling me that you love me all the time. I love you Princess P.

Thanks Mom and Dad

My Parents with Cody, Ansley and Emily

Thank you Mom and Dad for watching Ansley and Emily last week. I know that they had a blast with their Daddy Day and DeeDee. It was so nice to have some time with just Jeremy and Cody, my boys.

4th of July

The 4th of July weekend was awesome at Lake Travis. It was our first time this summer to go to the lake house and I did not realize how much I had missed it. It is just so nice to look out the huge windows and see mountains and the lake. Just beautiful! I just can't help but praise God when I am there.
On Saturday we woke up and got ready for the parade in Lago Vista. I got a kick out of Jeremy because he turned down going skiing that morning. When his mom asked why he told her, "I need to get everyone ready for the parade, we don't get ready in just 30 minutes anymore." Wow have things changed from getting up at 6am and flying out the door so we can get the good water. :)
Cousins

Cayden 2, Emily 22 months, Ansley 3, Brinley 6 months, Cody 2 months
All the kids with Nana and Papa

We had a blast at the parade. Cody was great, he sleep the entire time. The girls a fun time picking up candy with cousin, Cayden.

That evening we celebrated Christy's Birthday and had a great new cake that Karen made, Strawberry Cake with Germain Chocolate Icing. YUM. Then we took Jeremy's homemade Strawberry Ice Cream to the dock to watch fireworks. The kids were to tired, well...except Cayden. He really enjoyed dancing during the fireworks.

Daddy being silly Emily got into my makeup. I was really proud that she knew where to put the maskara.

Cody having fun on the dock. No swimming for him.

Sunday morning, Jeremy and I got to go skiing. The water was not great but we had a great time. The rest of the weekend we floated and swam with the kids. It was a wonderful weekend with the family.

I just love this picture with Cody. There is something about a boy and his momma. I could just hold and kiss him all day.

Relaxing at the Lake House

My sister Alicia and her family (Alex, Ryan, Carson, Collin and Anna Bei) came to visit on their way home from Marble Falls. Ryan enjoyed talking to Cody and the girls enjoyed playing with Collin and Anna Bei.

Ansley making silly faces.

This last week I got to go and spend some relaxing time with my mom at the Lake House. Jeremy's parents were out of town so I got to invite my mom up for a few days. She had a great time relaxing and playing with the kids.
After we had unpacked the car and settled down we decided to take the kids and go swimming in the lake. We headed down to the dock, my mom had the girls and I had the bags with Cody in the snuggle. Everything was good. Ansley was having a great time swimming and Emily enjoyed floating in her yellow boat, Cody was sitting in the bouncy seat on the dock. After we were in the water for about 15 minutes I looked up and the sky was getting really dark, so we started getting out of the water. Within 5 minutes it was raining and really windy, which is not a good combo with 3 kids. I prayed that the wind would die down and we could get back to the house okay. Finally everything was calm and we were able to walk back up to the house. It was really difficult to take the kids down without a lot of help. The next day we went to the pool instead, that was much easier.
Ansley just loved swimming in the pool. She was a little fish. Her favorite was looking at me under the water, she would open up her eyes big and wave at me. Emily was extremely content just walking around the pool wearing her new flip flops that Deedee got her. Cody just sleep in the stroller or on Deedee, the water was way too cool for him to get in.
We all had a great time with Deedee and were very sad to see her go.
